We can offer different internship and work experience placements in the Pucón area. These projects are open to language Pucón’s students as well as to everyone else interested in internships.

The majority of them require a minimum stay of two to tree months, few accept shorter periods too. All placements in the social area require good Spanish, in tourism basic Spanish often will be sufficient.

Organizing the internship programs we work with an agency in Pucón, which will find the right place for you and look for accommodation and all related issues.

The placements are:

In Social Area:
Schools, Kindergarten, cultural center in Mapuche Indian Community .

Tourism:
Adventure Tourism Agencies, Hostels, Hotels, Farms and horse riding camps.

Environment Area:
Private run protected area, National Park Administration.

Your presentation should include:
A note, telling us your ideas of the internship or work experience: preferences, which area, when, for how long. What is your motivation and whatever could help us finding the right placement for you.
Your curriculum vitae, If you can in Spanish, if not, don’t mind, we can translate it. Please include photos, the obligate CV one and some more, specially companies were you work in contact with clients often require them. Of great value is any practical experience in your area.

Time ahead:
Allow us up to eight weeks to find an adequate place for the period you want. Sometimes it will result faster.

Our services:
•Finding an appropriate place,
•Leasing of accommodation in family pension, cabin together with students or rooms in houses of Chilean professionals.
In Pucon:
•We pick you up at the bus station,
•Round trip in town to get oriented
•We accompany you to your accommodation and internship placement
•Active care taking meanwhile your stay in Pucon, regular visits,mediation in case of problems.

Program Costs:
For the arrangements and services described above we charge a fee of 320,- € for internships from 1-3 months.

For arrangement of internship and work experience in social area the fee is 220,- €.

The costs for accommodation are 65,- € per week, including expenses, without phone, internet.

Some placements offer accommodation, some even food or a small pocket money, these details you can check at the detaild decriptions of the placements.

When you aply for a internship we ask you a fee of 30,-€, which will be deducted from the total costs.

Within 8 weeks we offer you one or more placements, if you agree with one, you pay a reservation fee of 150,-€. If we are not able to offer you a placement we refund the 30,-€, discounting the translation fees. there is no refund if you don’t take the placements we offer or withdraw your application within the eight weeks.

The remaining part of the fee including costs for accommodation is due at least two weeks before your arrival.
